Lake Charles – Yesterday, December 25 at approximately 10:30 p.m. the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle accident near the intersection of High Hope Road an Ash Drive in Sulphur. Lake Charles – Today, December 26 around 2:00 p.m. the Iowa Police Department arrested CPSO Deputy Richard Booth for aggravated battery. Booth worked as a shift sergeant at the Calcasieu Correctional Center and had been with the department for approximately 6 years before being terminated by Sheriff Tony Mancuso today. Lake Charles, LA – Earlier this morning around 1:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were patrolling in the area of Brentwood in Lake Charles when they heard gunshots.
