Lake Charles – Earlier this morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on Loftin Road in Lake Charles in reference to an armed robbery. During the preliminary investigation detectives were advised by the victim that she observed an unknown man near her generator and when she opened the door to confront the suspect he ran towards her. Lake Charles, LA – Yesterday evening around 5:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence on Erble Lane in Moss Bluff in reference to a shooting. When deputies arrived they located the victim, Andrew Lafleur, III, 39, Moss Bluff, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Lake Charles, LA – On August 29 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were dispatched to a home on Thompson Avenue in Iowa in reference to Joan O’Brien, 73, and Zoren O’Brien, 81 deceased inside their home.
