The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently scheduling summer sessions for Sheriff Tony Mancuso’s Reality Check. This one day-course is taught by qualified deputies and will give teens the knowledge and resources they need to successfully handle real-life challenges as they transition to adulthood.
Summer classes are scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the following locations around the parish:
Vinton High School – June 5
Westlake High School – June 12
Hamilton Christian -June 19
Washington Marion - June 26
Iowa High School – July 3
Sulphur High School (9th Grade Campus) - July 10
The course is free for teenagers 14 and older and you do not have to attend the school where the course is held.
