The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth/D.A.R.E. Division will be holding their Annual Youth Fishing Derby Saturday, June 3, from 7:00 a.m.—11:00 a.m. at the CPSO Farm Pond behind the Calcasieu Correctional Center at 5400 E. Broad Street in Lake Charles.
Participants, ages 5 to 15, are asked to bring their own fishing gear, bait, lawn chairs, and a cooler to bring their fish home. Refreshments will be furnished.
This is event is offered to kids free of charge. Youth groups are welcome.
