CPSO ARRESTS MOSS BLUFF MIDDLE STUDENT FOR THREAT

Lake Charles –

 

On Tuesday, April 4, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified in reference to a possible threat made by a Moss Bluff Middle School student.  

 

During the initial investigation, deputies learned a 13 year old boy was heard stating he would shoot up the school.  After further investigation, the juvenile was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing. 

 

CPSO Detective Kimberly Curran is the lead detective on this case.  The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted CPSO with the investigation.

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
