CPSO ARRESTS SAM HOUSTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT FOR THREAT

Lake Charles –

 

On Friday, March 31, at approximately 2:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified in reference to a student at Sam Houston High School making threats. 

           

During the initial investigation deputies learned a 14 year old boy stated he was going to blow up the school.  Following an interview with detectives, he was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing. 

 

The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted CPSO with the investigation.

           

CPSO Safe School Deputy Bobby Benjamin is the arresting deputy on this case.  CPSO Detective Kimberly Curran is the lead investigator on this case. 

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
