CPSO ARRESTS BARBE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT FOR THREAT

Lake Charles –

 

Yesterday evening, at approximately 5:30 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call regarding a student, who attends Barbe High School, making threats. 

           

During the initial investigation detectives learned the 15 year old student made threats of a shooting occurring during class.  After further investigation detectives interviewed the boy and he was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing. 

           

CPSO Roger Pete is the lead investigator on this case. 

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
