CPSO ARRESTS MOSS BLUFF MIDDLE STUDENT FOR THREATS

Lake Charles –
 
Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call regarding a student, who attends Moss Bluff Middle School, making threats. 
            
During the initial investigation detectives learned while the 12 year old was at school he threatened to shoot other students on campus.  After further investigation detectives interviewed the boy and he was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing. 
            
CPSO Detective Clay Planchard is the lead investigator on this case. 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
