CPSO ARRESTS TEACHER FOR INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH A JUVENILE

Lake Charles–

On March 29 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding a local high school teacher, Alan B. Million, 40, Sulphur, inappropriately touching a student in October 2021, during tutoring after school.  The victim also advised detectives he was talking to her about sex.

On June 16 after further investigation, Judge Robert Wyatt signed a warrant in the amount of $25,000 for Million’s arrest.  He was arrested on June 20 and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.  He was released on bond later the same day.

CPSO Detective Alexander Vincent is the lead investigator on this case.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Note: Due to new legislation (HB 729) the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will no longer routinely release booking photographs/mugshots.
