CPSO ARRESTS JUVENILE FOR THREAT

Lake Charles, LA –

 

Yesterday at approximately 2:30 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were notified in reference to a 15 year old girl making threats towards Molo Middle School.

           

CPSO Safe School deputies were notified at which time the school was placed on lockdown.  When deputies arrived on scene they located the girl outside the school.  She was taken into custody, at which time they learned she was in possession of a knife, which she had concealed on her person. 

           

She was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing; and illegal carrying of a weapon. 

           

CPSO Deputy Hadrain Citizen is the arresting deputy on this case.  CPSO Detective Kardel Guidry is the lead investigator on this case.  

 

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

 

Note: The juvenile who made the threat, is NOT a student at the school.
