Lake Charles –
Earlier this evening at approximately 8:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Lewis Street in Sulphur in reference to a bicycle/vehicle fatality.
Due to evidence at the scene, detectives believe the suspect’s vehicle is a Jeep Cherokee, 2010 model, possibly blue or black in color. The vehicle will likely have damage to the driver’s side headlight, hood, and windshield. The vehicle will also be missing the driver’s side mirror.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages and there is no further information available at this time. If anyone has any information relating to this fatality, they are asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.
