Lake Charles, LA –
On November 13 around 7:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence on Julia Street in Lake Charles in reference to a shooting. When deputies arrived they located the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
During further investigation, it was learned the victim’s 16 year old friend was responsible for the shooting. She was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with aggravated 2nd degree battery.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital out of town and is listed in critical condition.
