CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR AGGRAVATED CRIME AGAINST NATURE

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On October 4 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a complaint regarding Andrew J. McClelland, 27, 1800 N. Beglis Parkway #102 C, Sulphur, having sexual intercourse and sexually battering a girl under the age of 18, several days prior. 

           

When detectives spoke with McClelland he confirmed he had sexual intercourse with the girl.  He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with aggravated crime against nature; and indecent behavior with a juvenile.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $550,000.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
