ONTRACTOR FRAUD RESPONSE TEAM ARRESTS MAN

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On September 7 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested Mister S. Castille, 44, Jennings, LA, after an investigation revealed he was responsible for contractor fraud. 

           

During the investigation it was discovered Castille entered into a contract with the victim and accepted $28,000 in payments to begin repairs on the residence, but did not possess a contractor’s license.          

He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to possess a residential contractor’s license.  Judge David Ritchie set his bond at $50,000.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged.   A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
