CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER

Lake Charles –

 

On August 11 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Unit detectives arrested convicted sex offender Christopher C. Robinson, 40, Lake Charles, after an investigation revealed he failed to comply with his sex offender registration requirements. 

 

During the initial investigation detectives learned Robinson was no longer living at his registered address.  Detectives made contact with Robinson and learned he moved approximately 1 month prior and failed to register his new address with law enforcement, making him in violations of his sex offender registration requirements.

 

Robinson was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with failure to register as a sex offender 2nd offense.  Judge Tony Fazzio set his bond at $30,000.

            

Robinson was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in 2005 in Calcasieu Parish.  He was also convicted of failure to register as a sex offender in 2014.
