This is to inform the public that the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has declared under R.S. 38:2211 (A)(5)(b) that Hurricane Delta, created extreme emergency threat for Calcasieu Parish. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be making purchases, repairs, debris removal and paying overtime starting October 6, 2020 thru the duration of the emergency event under this ruling. This is published in the official journal in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (P).
