CPSO ISSUE WARRANT FOR MAN FOR RAPE & LATER LOCATE IN TEXAS

Lake Charles, LA –

 

On August 16 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a complaint in reference to Patrick R. Sanner, 52, Sulphur, raping a juvenile under the age of 13. 

           

Later the same day after further investigation, detectives issued a warrant for Sanner’s arrest in the amount of $2 million signed by Judge Clayton Davis.  After detectives learned Sanner threatened to evade arrest by traveling to Mexico detectives requested assistance from federal agencies, and he was located the following day in Texas near the Mexican border. 

           

Sanner was arrested and booked into the Cameron County Jail in Brownsville, where he is awaiting an extradition hearing.  He is charged with 1st degree rape; and sexual battery.
