Lake Charles, LA –
On July 1 at approximately 1:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home in Iowa in reference to an attempted robbery.
When detectives arrived on scene they spoke with the victim who stated while he was staying at another residence, Tyrone D. Bartie, 46, 132 Reid Street, Lake Charles, knocked on the door and demanded money from him. The victim advised detectives Bartie led him to believe he was armed and threatened his life, forcing him to get in Bartie’s car.
