Lake Charles –
Starting today the Calcasieu Correctional Center and the Calcasieu Sheriff’s Prison will suspend all contact visits for inmates. Attorney visits are included in this restriction. Non-contact visits by telephone and glass partition will still be allowed.
This decision will be reevaluated every 30 days until the threat of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) subsides.
