1. A
resolution ordering and calling for the renewal of and to
authorize the continued levy and collection of an existing ad valorem
property tax, not to exceed 7.58 mills on the dollar of assessed valuation of all property subject to taxation within the District, for a
period of ten (10) years from the date of the first levy of the tax renewal as called for by the voters to be placed on the ballot in an election to be held in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, on or
about May 9, 2020, in
accordance with applicable state laws and
regulations, and to make application to the Louisiana State Bond
Commission. The current 7.58 Mill Ad Valorem Property Tax,, expires on December 31, 2020, and the renewal of same, if approved, will commence on January 1, 2021 and expire on December 31,
2030.
