Under the 2019 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is proposing the procurement of one color copier, one shredder and one hostage negotiation kit to include command/communication module and throw phone. This grant has an allocation of funding by the Bureau of Justice Assistance totaling $36,553.00. The application for federal assistance under this grant is due by August 23, 2018 and comments from the public regarding this grant proposal are encouraged.
