Lake Charles –
On July 16 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home in Lake Charles in reference to a Snap Chat picture of a rifle labeled “Don’t go to school tomorrow.” The IP address on the picture linked it to the home on Lutte Tigre Lane. One of the males in the home, Lucas J. McClellan, 22, Nashville, TN, confirmed to deputies he had posted the picture. He is visiting Lake Charles from Nashville.
McClellan was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with terrorizing.
Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $5,000.
CPSO Detectives Lauren Cowick and Tomas Juarez are the lead investigators on this case. The investigation is continuing.
