Lake Charles, LA –
On June 20 at approximately 8:00 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a community pool at a mobile home park off Gulf Highway in Lake Charles in reference to a possible drowning.
When deputies arrived they were informed a 4 year old boy was found at the bottom of the swimming pool. Deputies were advised the boy had been at the pool with family members.
Life saving measures were performed on the boy until emergency medical personnel arrived, at which time he was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Detective Michelle Robinson is the lead investigator on this case.
