Lake Charles, LA –

On June 9 at approximately 10 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a pharmacy on Highway 14 in Lake Charles.  When deputies arrived they were advised by the complainant that two men entered the store armed with a knife and took a set of headphones and some food and left the store.

Detectives arrived on scene at which time they viewed video surveillance from inside the store.  A short time later detectives were able to locate the suspects, later identified as Aaron J. Carvin, 27, and Nicholas D. Carvin, 26, both of 3425 Polk Street, Lake Charles, near the store.

When detectives spoke with Aaron and Nicholas they confirmed they were involved in the robbery.  They also advised detectives they were responsible for other robberies that had taken place at the same pharmacy.  They were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with armed robbery; and theft less than $1,000.  Judge Guy Bradberry set Aaron’s bond at $255,000 and Nicholas’ bond at $155,000.

Detectives are currently looking into the other robberies mentioned by the suspects; more arrest and charges are possible.
