Lake Charles, LA –
On April 22, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a report in reference to pornography involving a juvenile. During their investigation they learned a 16 year old boy had sent a sexual explicit video of a 15 year old girl, who was his ex-girlfriend, to several people. Detectives also learned one of the people the boy sent the video to, Lashonda N. Richard, 39, 1202 Virginia Street, Lake Charles, then forwarded the video out to several more people. Sometime between April 26 and 27 detectives learned two of the people who had received the video, Alexis L. Richard, 19, 1758 St. John Street, Lake Charles, and a 16 year old girl, had posted the video on social media.
Detectives issued warrants for the arrest of Lashonda, Alexis, and both 16 year old juveniles. Between May 1 and 21, all 4 suspects were arrested. Lashonda and Alexis were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. Lashonda is charged with 3 counts of pornography involving juveniles; she was released on a $25,000 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt. Alexis is charged with pornography involving juveniles; and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles; she was released on an $11,000 bond set by Judge Sharon Wilson. Both juveniles were booked into the Juvenile Detention Center. The boy is charged with 3 counts of pornography involving juveniles and the girl is charged 1 count of pornography involving juveniles.
The two Richard women are not related.
