Lake Charles –
On February 26 at approximately 10:40 p.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence on 3rd Street in Lake Charles in reference to a drive by shooting.
During the investigation detectives located numerous rounds of various calibers that had been shot into the residence while it was occupied, nearly hitting a 13 year old child. Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance near where the shooting occurred, which shows a light colored car, possibly a Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis, that is believed to be involved in the shooting.

No one was injured during the shooting.
