CPSO NOW ACCEPTS TRAFFIC CITATION FEES AT SULPHUR LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER

Lake Charles –

In an attempt to better serve the public the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Sulphur (West Cal) Law Enforcement Center is now equipped to accept payments for traffic citations.  “I felt like we needed to add an option for the public to be able to pay their traffic fees on the west side of the river instead of having to drive to Lake Charles.  With all the traffic congestion problems we are currently having in the parish, I wanted to make it more convenient for the community,” stated Sheriff Tony Mancuso.  “We will still continue to collect citation fees at the CPSO Tax Office in Lake Charles; the Sulphur office will be another alternative for people.”

The Sulphur Law Enforcement Center is located at 1017 Beglis Parkway, and will accept payments Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Citizens will need to bring their citation along with a photo ID.   Payments can be made using cashier's check, money order, or credit card.
