Lake Charles –
On July 15 at approximately 11:30 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a convenience store on Highway 171 in Moss Bluff in reference to an armed robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the store with a gun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer and detectives believe he possibly fled the area on foot.
