Lake Charles, LA –
On June 1 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Donald James O. Ellis, Jr., 27, 1349 John Belle Road, Lake Charles, after an investigation revealed he had inappropriately touched an 11 year old girl. During the investigation the victim advised detectives the incident happened the previous night while she was staying at a family member’s home.
When detectives spoke with Ellis he confirmed the allegations against him. He was arrested and booked in the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1st degree rape. Judge Ron Ware set his bond at $100,000.
