CPSO SEARCHING FOR SULPHUR MAN RESPONSIBLE FOR STABBING

Last night at approximately 10:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a home on River Bend Lane in Sulphur in reference to a stabbing. 

 

During the investigation detectives were advised by a resident of the home that a family member, William K. Foy, 23, Sulphur, had shown up at the residence intoxicated.  She stated Foy began to argue with her and attempted to take her phone out of her hands when he thought she was calling the police.  The women stated she refused to give up her phone and Foy slapped and punched her, causing her to fall to the ground, at which time he kicked her multiple times.  She then told detectives another family member entered the residence after he could hear her screaming for help.  She stated at that time Foy armed himself with a knife and a fork and swung the knife at the man, causing a laceration to his face.  Foy also stabbed the man again in the back with the fork and attempted to stab him several more times with the knife.  The man also advised detectives Foy bit him several times.  The women was able to call 911, but Foy fled the scene prior to deputies arrival.  Detectives attempted to locate Foy but were unsuccessful. 

 

Judge Guy Bradberry signed a warrant in the amount of $55,000 for his arrest.  Foy is charged with aggravated battery; and simple battery.  Detectives are currently searching for Foy and ask if anyone has any information regarding his whereabouts, please call the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 491-3605.
