CALCASIEU PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARREST BARBE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT FOR THREAT

Lake Charles –

 

On March 12 shortly after 8:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives were notified by the Barbe High School Resource Officer in reference to a threat from a student at the school.

           

During the initial investigation detectives learned school officials had spoken with several students who advised they overheard a 16 year old boy say he wanted to kill people.  When detectives spoke with the boy he confirmed he made the threat.  He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and is charged with terrorizing.
