Earlier this morning at approximately 12:30 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a convenience store, located on Highway 171 in Moss Bluff, in reference to an attempted robbery.
During the initial investigation detectives learned the suspect encountered the store clerk outside the front entrance of the store and demanded she enter the store and give him money. When she refused he threatened her, stating he was armed with a gun. The clerk still did not comply and the suspect fled on foot towards Joe Miller Road.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing blue jeans, a grey hoodie, and a black mask covering his face. If anyone has any information regarding this robbery please call the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at 491-3605 or Crimestoppers at 439-2222.
