The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office held their Annual Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 10. Awards were given to the following deputies for their outstanding accomplishments and service to the Sheriff’s Office in 2016 in their respective divisions:
Deputy of the Year:
Angela Ball – Programs Division
Travis Lavergne – Investigations Division
Cpl. Jason Hayes – Enforcement Division
Lt. Dan Herman – Civil & Law Enforcement Centers Division
Michael Abate - Correctional Division
Derek Goss – Special Services Division
Toni Corbello – Financial Division
Terry Williams –Security Enforcement Division
Derek Goss was also chosen as “2016 Deputy of the Year” for the entire Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office. Leona Griffin of the Corrections Division was chosen as “Support Employee of the Year.” The “Eric Bellard Pride Award” was given to Sr. Cpl. Mark Rosteet. Cpt. Rick Daughenbaugh, Lt. Kathy Johnson and Lt. Neil Gremillion were awarded the “Volunteer of The Year Award”.
