CPSO COLLECTS TOYS FOR LIVINGSTON PARISH FLOOD VICTIMS

Lake Charles, LA –

Due to the tragic flooding event that took place in August the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office along with Able Plumbing held a toy drive to collect Christmas gifts for children and families that were affected by the flooding.  The toys collected will be picked up by Sheriff Jason Ard, Livingston Parish Sheriff, tomorrow, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office.

“I am proud of our community, which always comes together to help others in need,” stated Sheriff Tony Mancuso.  “We were able to collect a camper full of toys that will be sent to Livingston Parish in time for Christmas.  We also held a separate toy drive and deputies donated toys and bikes to help numerous families in our own parish who are in need during the Christmas season.”
