CPSO VICE RE-ARRESTS MOSS BLUFF MAN FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

On March 24 a deputy with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office stopped a car for a traffic violation. During the stop the deputy became suspicious and the driver, Timothy R. Naquin, 58, 215 Senator Ln., Moss Bluff, gave him consent to search his vehicle, which revealed a printed child pornography image. CPSO Vice detectives were contacted and continued the investigation which led them to Naquin’s residence where recovered forty-two (42) printed images of what they believe to be child pornography. Naquin was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 42 counts of possession of child pornography. He bonded out later the same day on a $50,000 bond set by Judge Clayton Davis.

 

During the search of Naquin’s residence in March detectives recovered numerous computers, which Naquin advised belonged to him. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the computers and they were sent to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office Forensic Unit for examination. Upon completion of the search of the computers detectives found approximately 263 hardcore child pornography images, as well as, 101 child erotica images.

 

On July 7 detectives obtained a warrant for Naquin’s arrest in the amount of $1,500,000 signed by Judge David Ritchie. The next day Naquin was located at his residence and arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with possession of child pornography.

The investigation is continuing with more charges possible.
