The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office has identified the body found yesterday as Jeremy Chad Vincent, 36, Sulphur.
Yesterday evening at approximately 5:00 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 2000 block of Swisco Road in Sulphur in reference to a body in the ditch. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an unknown individual deceased, located partially inside a culvert.
The investigation is still in the preliminary stages. The cause of death has not yet been determined by the Calcasieu Parish Coroner’s Office.
