CPSO VICE ARRESTS MAN FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY

Lake Charles –

On March 24 Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Tyler Jones stopped a car for a traffic violation. During the stop Jones became suspicious and the driver, Timothy R. Naquin, 58, 215 Senator Ln., Moss Bluff, gave him consent to search his vehicle. The search revealed a printed child pornography image.

CPSO Vice detectives were contacted and continued the investigation which led them to Naquin’s residence. During a search of the residence detectives recovered forty-two (42) printed images of what they believe to be child pornography. Detectives also recovered two computers and other electronic media storage devices.

Naquin was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 42 counts of possession of child pornography.

Judge Clayton Davis set Naquin’s bond at $50,000.

The investigation is continuing and further charges are expected.
