Lake Charles, LA –
On January 17 the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Ryan A. Benniefiel, 29, Lake Charles, having inappropriate sexual contact with a 15 year old girl. The victim advised detectives that Benniefiel had inappropriate sexual contact with her on numerous occasions in December of last year.
After further investigation detectives questioned Benniefiel and he confirmed the allegations.
On January 28 Benniefiel was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 3 counts of aggravated crime against nature. Judge Robert Wyatt set his bond at $225,000.
CPSO Detective Lt. Michael Primeaux is the lead investigator on this case.
