Lake Charles –
Early this morning at approximately 3:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Chardele’s Truck Stop at 560 Hwy 397 in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival deputies spoke with the store clerk and a store patron, who advised they were robbed by three men. They told detectives that the three men entered the store and demanded money. The store clerk told detectives that the suspects battered him as well as the other victim before leaving the store. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the three suspects fled the store. Neither the store clerk or patron was seriously injured.
All three suspects are described as black males wearing masks, gloves and black hoodies and all three were believed to be armed.
