CPSO LOOKING FOR ARMED ROBBERS

Lake Charles –

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Cameron Express convenience store located at 3247 Hwy 14 East in Lake Charles at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night regarding an armed robbery. The investigation revealed the suspect came into the store with a handgun and demanded the store clerk lay face down on the ground while the suspect took money from the register. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he fled the store. There was also another suspect that did not enter the store, but stayed at the front doors.

Both suspects are described as black males. The suspect that entered the store is described as heavy set, approximately 5-9” – 5’10; he was wearing a black t-shirt and shorts with a blue bandanna around his face.

The store clerk was not harmed.
