The Moss Bluff man who was found deceased in his home Monday morning has been identified as Blake L. Brewer, 54, 1491 Hollyvale Rd. Kevin Daigle, who shot and killed Trooper Steven Vincent is reported to have lived with Brewer and was driving Brewer’s truck at the time of the shooting.
While being interviewed by State Police, Daigle led investigators to believe an altercation occurred between him and Brewer which led to Brewer’s death.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives processed the crime scene until late last night and are back at the scene this morning to finish gathering evidence.
The investigation is continuing with more charges against Daigle expected.
