Under the 2015 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG), the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is proposing the procurement of one CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives) detection monitoring system; eight negotiator level III bullet resistant vests, and nineteen (19) level III bullet resistant vests for the uniform/patrol and warrants divisions.
The application for federal assistance under this grant is due by June 6, 2015 and comments from the public regarding this grant proposal are encouraged. All comments are to be directed to the attention of Louis Hebert, Planning & Research (337-491-3716).
