CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR SIMPLE BUGLARY & THEFT

Lake Charles –

 

 

Between May 6 - 10, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched on two different occasions to a local casino in Lake Charles in reference to a vehicle burglary.

 

During the investigation, detectives reviewed surveillance video from the casino which captured a man, later identified as Joshua Langford, 23, 1201 Ravia Rd # 86, Sulphur, and another male entering the victims’ vehicles.

 

When questioned by detectives, Langford confirmed he was present for the two burglaries.

 

Langford, who was currently incarcerated at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on unrelated charges, was charged with 2 counts of simple burglary; and theft between $750 and $5,000.

 

Judge Ronald Ware set his bond at $12,500.

 

The investigation is continuing with additional arrests possible.

 

CPSO Detective David Doucett is the lead investigator in this case.
