Lake Charles –
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run that occurred sometime between the evening hours on December 31 and early morning hours on January 1, on Alder Street in Lake Charles.
During the initial investigation detectives learned a vehicle was heading northbound on Alder Street when it struck a parked car, causing damage. Further investigation revealed the suspect’s vehicle is a silver 2017 Ford Escape. The SUV will have significant damage to the passenger side, front head light area.
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking anyone with information related to this case to contact the lead investigator Sgt. Casey Steech at 491-3846 and reference case number 24-000097.
