CPSO ARRESTS MAN FOR CARNAL KNOWLEDGE OF A JUVENILE

Lake Charles –

On March 6 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives received a call to a home on Hodges Street in Lake Charles in reference to a runaway juvenile that was located at the residence.

When detectives arrived they learned the 15 year old girl, who had been reported missing during the early morning hours the same day, was at the home with Bobby J. LaFleur, Jr., 43, 211 N. Hodges Street, Lake Charles.  During further investigation it was learned the girl had previously met LaFleur at his place of employment and they exchanged phone numbers.  Detectives were advised LaFleur picked the girl up from her home the night of March 5 and brought her to his residence, where they had sexual intercourse.

When detectives questioned LaFleur, he confirmed he had sexual intercourse with the victim.  He was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.  His bond is still pending.
