Tony Mancuso - Sheriff
Tony Mancuso was elected Sheriff of Calcasieu Parish in October 2003 and began his term July 1, 2004. Prior to that time, he was elected Ward 3 Marshal and served in that capacity for seven years. In two consecutive terms as Ward 3 Marshal, Mancuso constantly redefined the standard for a productive, proactive, professional and proud law enforcement agency.
Prior to being elected sheriff, Mancuso worked 13 years for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in the Corrections Division, Patrol Division and the Youth Division. His law enforcement training includes the Calcasieu Parish Regional Law Enforcement Academy, Louisiana Sheriff's Association Civil Liabilities School, Louisiana Drug Abuse Resistance Education School, 232nd Session FBI National Academy, and Council for A Better Louisiana's Leadership. He also completed professional coursework in satanic worship awareness, patrol tactics and public relations. Mancuso began teaching DARE in 1992, and even as Sheriff, continues to teach a DARE class.
Mancuso is a graduate of McNeese State University and is a member of the Louisiana Sheriff's Association, National Sheriff's Association, Lake Charles Optimist Club, and the Sons of the American Legion. He has been appointed by Governor Blanco to serve on the Domestic Violence Law Enforcement Task Force. He has also been appointed to serve on the Governor's Advisory Board of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
He is married to the former Mickey Pruden and they are the parents of Trey, Mary, and Morgan. The Mancuso's are members of St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church. |

Gary "Stitch" Guillory - Chief Deputy
Guillory was the Chief of Police for the City of Westlake and has held that position for 7 years. He had 21 years of experience with the Westlake Police Department. He is a graduate of several law enforcement academies, including the LSU Basic Law Enforcement Academy, the FBI National Academy, and the LSU Law Enforcement Juvenile Institute.
Guillory is a state certified POST firearms instructor, as well as a state certified D.A.R.E. instructor. He has received numerous awards for distinguished service, including D.A.R.E. Officer of the Year; Law Enforcement Award by the West Calcasieu Branch of the NAACP for outstanding performance and dedication to the community; and the Law Enforcement of the Year Award by the North Lake Charles Kiwanis Club. |

G. "Buba" Mayeaux - Asst. Chief Deputy
Mayeaux was the chief deputy for the Ward 3 Marshal's Office and held that position for 7 years. Prior to that he worked 6 years at the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office in the Corrections, Patrol and Narcotics Divisions. He began his law enforcement career in the military as an enlisted military police officer, and later as an officer, branched into the Military Police Corps.
Mayeaux is a graduate of McNeese State University, with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice; and the 224th Session FBI National Academy. He is actively involved in several civic organizations, and has attended numerous schools and advanced training courses in law enforcement and leadership development. |
