CPSO TO HOST FREE “LADIES PERSONAL SAFETY” SEMINAR

Lake Charles –

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a free “Ladies Personal Safety” seminar at the CPSO Training Academy, located at 3958 Mallard Cove Drive in Lake Charles.  The initial seminar will be held on Monday, October 3 and repeated on Tuesday, October 4, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., so women can choose either date to attend.  Women will learn defenses against sudden violent attacks, situational awareness, fear management, and basic defenses against common grabs and strikes.
